Do it for the gram

We love our gram fam so much - words can't even describe the feeling we get when we see you post creative pictures of our product. Whether a drizzle of BASIC Cashew Butter on top of an açaí bowl or a spoonful straight from the jar (as seen to the left) - nothing makes us happier than when our people Spread The Love right back at us.

We started off small and have since grown to a community of close to 30k! Our followers are all over the map, from Los Angeles to New York to London and Sydney too! If you are ever in need of some culinary inspiration feel free to check out our page as we will always highlight the creations that our community comes up with along with any recipes that we cook up in our kitchen too. Proud to be palm fruit oil free

You will never find a spec of palm fruit oil in any of our products, that is our promise to you. We decided early on that we did not want to use palm fruit oil in any of our products for two main reasons. First off, palm fruit oil has been and continues to be a major driver of deforestation of some of the world’s most biodiverse forests, destroying the habitat of already endangered species like the Orangutan, pygmy elephant and Sumatran rhino. Palm fruit oil production is said to have been responsible for about 8% of the world's deforestation between 1990 and 2008. Secondly palm fruit oil has a high saturated fat content, which can be harmful to cardiovascular health.

Our promise to you is to always be a forward thinking brand that is not solely focused on profit but one that is focused on how we can leave the planet a better and healthier place versus how we found it. We are confident that keeping palm fruit oil out of our products is the right thing to do.
