About Tazah Grape Leaves

Grape leaves derive from the leaves of the grapevine plant. Tazah Grape Leaves are picked from grape vines while they are still tender. Prime grape leaves are picked young, tender, and whole with a shiny light green color and about 4-6 inches wide. This is during the prime picking season, in the mid-late Spring and early Summer (May and June). Our Grape Leaves are then grouped and wrapped together into a glass jar filled with brine to preserve.
