Amapola is a well-known brand of Molinos de Puerto Rico, which has been operating in the Island since 1958. Molinos de Puerto Rico manufactures wheat and corn flour for the industrial and retail markets. We have the most advanced technology in the flour industry. The new mill has a daily production of 10,000 quintals of wheat flour, 1,300 quintals of corn flour and a storage capacity of 30,000 quintals of flour. Monthly we import about 25,500 tons of grains. We have an elevator that has a storage capacity of 90,000 tons of grains. We currently export to the Caribbean Islands. All our products are manufactured under FDA regulations. In addition to Amapola products, Molinos de Puerto Rico manufactures industrial flours such as: Buccaneer, Special 50, Triumphador, Full Power High Gluten, Garland Cracker, Gran Biscuit and Queen Quality, these are well-known brands in the bakery industry.
