Our mix also makes aip pizza crust! For two 12” crusts, no kombucha is needed. Mix one package of Rustic Bread Mix, 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 ½ cups cold water until you have a soft dough. Using wet hands or a silicone spatula, press dough into two 12” circles. Bake at 450 degrees for 15-17 minutes. Add your toppings and return to the oven for 5-8 minutes.

Tips for baking the perfect loaf: Let’s be real. AIP baking can be challenging. The main thing to remember is DO NOT UNDERBAKE your loaf of bread. It will brown well and may deceive you into thinking 50-60 minutes is too long, but do not be tricked into removing it from your oven too soon! A 5x5 loaf pan also works but may need to cook longer than the recommended time. Make sure it is completely cool before slicing to your preferred thickness.

Troubleshooting: If you accidentally undercook your bread, do not despair. If it feels more than a touch sticky after slicing, place your slices on a baking sheet in a 350 degree oven for 2-3 minutes, or until dry to the touch, then flip and repeat for the other side.
