We then use a proprietary slow, cold-extraction process to preserve more than 300 delicate flavors to deliver the richest tasting vanilla from around the world. As the trend in global flavors rises, we now offer five distinct, single-origin, pure vanilla extracts from Madagascar, Mexico, Tahiti, Indonesia and Uganda.
Indonesian Pure Vanilla Extract is produced with premium beans from the Republic of Indonesia, the second- largest producer of vanilla. This vanilla extract has a strong, upfront flavor profile with woody, smoky notes. As this variety holds flavor through heat, making it perfect for high-heat and slow-baked dishes. Try it in chocolate- or dairy-based recipes to compliment sweetness and add a boost of flavor.
We work directly with in-country suppliers, who source the finest vanilla available from diverse networks of farmers country-wide. Our sustainability efforts in Indonesia support the Crown Princess Mangkubumi, as she develops a Food Forest Garden program with the goal of protecting crops from climate change and providing farmers with a more stable livelihood.
