“El Silencio” 100% Arbequina Acidity: <0º2 The olives are harvested by hand and immediately taken to the mill, ensuring the raw materials are in perfect condition to make the oil. The olive harvest goes from the middle of October to the end of November.

Silencio Arbequina expresses the typicality of the Arbequina. Artichoke, almonds, green tomato are the principal notes in the aromatic palette. It is fresh and the aroma is fine and delicate. The first sensation at mouth is sweetness with bitter and pungent notes well present.


1870 The company's foundation by Mr Jaime Torres Vendrell. The construction of the company headquarters and the winery opposite the train station. 1909 The birth of Miguel Torres Carbó at the Pairal home, situated next to the train station and which was used as the site of the Miguel Torres Museum until 1997. 1936 The Spanish Civil War began. Our L’Aranyó estate, situated in the area of Juneda, in the heart of the Les Garrigues region, is a real Mediterranean sanctuary of olive trees more than four hundred years old.

This estate, which was planted with cereals and olive trees by the Duke of Medinaceli, later belonged to the monks of Montserrat. At the end of the nineties we began to cultivate the Olive Oil here in a typically continental climate. Since 1999 “El Silencio” and “Eterno” are produced here.
