Holland's world-famous, mild, cow's milk cheese, Gouda, is rather firm, grates easily and melts fluidly. It is a wonderful ingredient for any dish requiring cheese with a sweet, soft, milky flavor. Works well on larger banquet cheese platters requiring cheese of a mild nature. It is best combined with French, Italian, or domestic cooked hams. Keep in mind for fancy sandwiches! Long shelf life!
