Description
Fettuccine Rigate is wider than spaghetti and Linguine and due to the Bronze die used in manufacturing has a rougher surface to cling better to sauces, famously used for Fettuccine Alfredo, wonderfully simple with butter, cheese and pepper. Lumaconi; is inspired by the shell of a snail and are hollow inside, and open at one end, as large as a ping pong ball. They are often boiled then filled with mixtures of Ricotta, Zucchini or mushrooms, then baked. Fusilli: is inspired by the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa spiral staircase, perfect for Pasta Salads, and often served with red or creamy sauces. Masciarelli Spaghetti Bronze cut Artisan Italian pasta from Abruzzo, the gentle roughness from the bronze die lets this pasta cling tight to sauces of olive oil and garlic; chunky fresh tomatoes and basil or your favorite family recipe.
  • 1 pack of Caserecci, Bucatini, Fettuccine, Penne Pasta from bronze dye, artisan Italian pasta from Abruzzo, in 500 gram Pack (17.6 Ounce each)
  • Pastificio Masciarelli (est. 1867) located in the small Abruzzo mountain village of Pratola Peligna, is regarded as one of the oldest family pasta producers in Italy
  • The ingredients are simple: 100% durum wheat (high in protein) and pure spring water from the waters of the surrounding Majella National Park; and nothing else
  • Bronze dyes and extremely slow drying produce a rough texture, (which you can feel) and allows sauce to cling to this extraordinary product. So, if you've ever wondered why the sauce just slides off your regular industrial pasta, this is why; it has nothing to cling to
